Class experience
This class is played on the Bedrock version of Minecraft. Join a private realm to build a community and go on adventures! We will talk about all things Minecraft. Independent and guided building and adventures. Let's work together to create amazing builds and explore the Minecraft world. Everyone is welcome even if you have never played Minecraft! Students will help to decide what the mission of the week will be... Should we go mining? Start a farm? Start our own village? Go to the Nether...
Students will work together and independently to create their own and community spaces within a shared world. Students will improve their communication skills, critical thinking, organization, problem-solving, goal setting, conflict resolution, and collaboration. Students also will hopefully be able to make some new friends!

We will be playing Minecraft on a private Bedrock Realm. Please review internet safety with your child: — Do not ask other people to connect online outside of our programs without first confirming with your adults. — Do NOT give away personal information — If an individual asks for personal information, you should inform me, or your adult for guidance. There will be no participant allowed on this server that was not approved by me. Please note, students are not able to play in the realm outside of class times. It is not encouraged that students give out contact information unless adults have approved. Learners may have the ability to communicate in the realm during class if parental settings have allowed this. Students have the ability to place signs in-game as well as a form of communication. Minecraft played in survival mode does have some minor cartoon violence, players use pixelized weapons to defeat "mobs" such as zombies or skeletons they also have the option to farm animals for food. Players also can take damage and "die". This resets their character at a spawn point. There is no blood, gore, profanity, or sexuality. https://www.commonsensemedia.org/game-reviews/minecraft/user-reviews/adult
