I offer a survey course in which students can learn a little bit about various survival skills including: Map and Compass work Knot Tying Plant Identification Animal Identification This would be a great opportunity for those in Scouts to practice skills to refresh your understanding or advance through the ranks with someone who has attained the rank of Eagle. This course is much more in-depth than the initial course. In this multi-week class the schedule will go as follows: Week 1: Knot Tying Week 2: Plant and Animal Identification Week 3: Map and Compass Work Week 4: Scenarios and other general survival tips. After students take this course they should feel more comfortable in a basic outdoor experience knowing about these topics and understanding how to handle multiple situations that just may come in handy in your daily life.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a current English Teacher with a Masters Degree who is excited about helping students virtually with various English skills such as poetry, reading goals, and specific reading skills.
I am also an Eagle Scout who is determined to help anyone who is in the Boy Scouts of America program or anyone wanting to learn basic survival, knot tying, and other skills to feel more confident in these areas.
