Beginner Level
Calling all Super Friends! Join our 9-week self paced fitness class where your child will unleash their inner superhero, jump down the warp pipe with Mario, race with Sonic, and so much more! Each Unit, they'll tackle new moves like web slingers, wonder blasts, and ninja kicks. Bring ALL your energy! We'll warm up, work out with themed exercises, play games, and cool down. Kids can send in videos of their superhero moves and share their optional art work and STEM activities for personalized feedback and encouragement. Let's get active and save the world together! No prior experience needed. No equipment needed! Don’t forget to bring all your energy, superpowers, and a water bottle too! Pretending to be superheroes, Super Mario friends, Ninja Turtles, Pokémon Trainers, LEGO Ninjagos, and Sonic Pals in this upbeat fitness course keeps it fun and entertaining! Each Unit will have new moves and exercises! Children will learn how to do infinity jumps, ninja kicks, and warp pipe crawlers just to name a few! I will first guide students through the warm-up and stretching. Safety first! Next, I will model and perform a variety of exercises as we have fun and fight off villains, work on our Ninja training and skills, Sonic super speed, and even save Princess Peach from marrying Bowser! Additionally, there are cool down activities and themed games. Over the 9 weeks, you will have access to 20 custom made videos. Each one a themed workout full of super missions, lots of exercise and movement designed specifically for children, and engaging games! On top of that, each week has two additional (optional) themed activities for your child. Most are very simple, ranging from exercise activities to imaginative art projects, and even STEM activities to get your little superhero's mind thinking, building, and designing! Learners will have the opportunity to send me videos of their amazing superhero moves, share all their character and movie knowledge, and even create a show and tell video with some of their favorite toys! You are encouraged to share a picture or video of the optional activities such as the Lego Build Challenge, DIY Race Track, or Create Your Own Turtle Shell. Responses will be in the form of written classroom correspondence and video replies created especially for your little Superhero from me! You can expect your child to receive lots of encouragement and praise throughout our workout. They will finish feeling excited about fitness, and with new exercises they can continue to practice at home! Active fun for the whole family! *This is a FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE CLASS meaning that all workouts are pre-recorded videos. Learning Goals
Students will learn REAL stretches and exercises disguised as Super Friends movements. Practicing and perfecting these exercises over time will improve your child’s flexibility, balance, agility, and increase strength!
They will also be working towards achieving the daily physical activity recommendations of both the CDC and American Heart Association.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is suggested just to make sure your child is staying hydrated and resting when needed. But don't worry! We will take plenty of group water and breathing breaks!
