Description

Class Experience

Students will learn positive kinetic motor patterns to boost their athleticism for their current and future endeavors in any sport. Coordination, Strength, Agility, Flexibility, Balance. Primarily, the benefits I’m looking to bring out in my students is single- and double-leg strength for squats, explosive jump power, single- and double-arm strength for pushups, hand balance, and inversion awareness; and last but not least, a strong core for twisting, tucking, and stabilizing the body. Superhero Fitness Plus is perfect for kids looking to get into martial arts, gymnastics, tricking, parkour, and team sports.
Coach Eurico has been coaching for over 10 years from Math all the way to Capoeira and Parkour. Coach Eurico is also a high-level acrobat and martial artist that performed and toured the world professionally as a stuntman in Marvel Universe LIVE in 2016 as Spiderman and Wolverine.

Superhero suit and other superhero gear, water, and open space! Laptop, iPad, Mirror, or Portal recommended for easiest learner engagement.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners should become familiar with the 3 Main Areas of the Body and have one move down from class to do one their own! There will also be occasional bonus rounds throughout class to assess super students’ moves and get shout-outs!
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
In this class, we will work up a sweat! Make sure your child has adequate space to perform movements and has water ready. 

This class is built to strengthen active learners, so these basic fitness movements are very safe. Coach Eurico does do flips often throughout class, but does not do it for them to copy! Coach Eurico has trained many years to be able to pull off flips easily and safely in class.

Superhero role playing may also include mentions of fighting, self-defense, and protection. While Coach Eurico recognizes the nature of protecting the world from super-villains, Coach Eurico pushes self-defense first and encourages positive conflict resolution so that both sides feel heard and listened to.

Also this class can be done barefoot, and is done this way by Coach Eurico from time to time under his super suit. Barefoot training will strengthen our toe dexterity, and as a result, our balance and jumps too.
Inspiration from any and everything superhero or hero related. All the way from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to My Hero Academia and everything in between.
