Your neighborhood friendly...superhero! In this non-stop fitness class, you will get to become your favorite Superhero! Zumba fitness core moves will be incorporated into class. Zumba is known as "fitness in disguise" so children are getting exercise while having fun. We will have a Superhero warm-up with some unique moves such as using as our laser eyes and becoming invisible. Then we will play Superhero Freeze where children can freeze into their favorite Superhero poses! Games are specially designed so there are no individual winners, rather everyone just has fun. Children will feel empowered that they can participate in the dances and games no matter their age or skill. We will briefly discuss what it means to be a hero and how each student is a hero. Children will have the opportunity to show and tell their superhero toys. There will then be more Superhero moves, fitness, and fun as children get 40 minutes or exercise without even noticing! They are also welcome to dress as their favorite superhero, although this is entirely optional. Zumba is different than a dance class because it is for every child. There are no skill levels. Children are allowed to move however they like and however is comfortable. This gives the child the opportunity to explore who they are. This class will encourage confidence, empowerment, and pure joy! The goal of class is to have your child happy and smiling ☺️
Learning Goals
Children will enjoy dancing to superhero songs. They will be introduced to basic Zumba core steps. They will learn superhero themed games. They will leave class with happiness and confidence.

Parental Guidance
Children will need a space to move around and dance. The space should be free of object on the floor or anything they can bump into. This is to avoid injuries or falls.They will need appropriate shoes (no sandals, flip flops or heels). They also need a bottle of water.
