In this 30-day prerecorded video series, learners will be introduced to daily superhero fitness workouts (with the 7th day as a rest day) to strengthen the 3 Main Areas of the Body! Follow along with Coach Eurico aka Coach Spidey as he shows you the fundamental superhero moves to keep your body superfit using bodyweight and household item exercises inspired by our favorite superheroes! ***Learners must know how to use their Outschool account to access and upload content....
The goal is for students to be able to identify the 3 Main Areas of the Body and some superhero trivia questions by the end of this course. My superhero fitness workouts are centered around fitness, martial arts, and somatic movement! I will teach you essential techniques everyday to build your strength, agility, coordination, and flexibility while doing fun superhero inspired workouts!
Hey there Super Families, my name is Coach Eurico, also known as Coach Spidey, and I am a movement expert and coach. I have been coaching for over 10 years in athletics and academics from capoeira, gymnastics, and parkour, all the way to math and english. i’ve also performed professionally around the world as a stuntman with Marvel Universe LIVE and now I’ve combined my passions into a truly unique experience to teach you how to move like a superhero! Now, after helping literally thousands of kids ages 3-10 around the world on Outschool already with my group Superhero Fitness+ and Superhero Fitness Plus Ultra classes, I have formulated what I believe to be the BEST Superhero Fitness Class ever created. And some of the bonus gear is just for fun to add to the class experience! Essentials: Backpack Towel Water Bottle Pillow Bonus: Superhero Suit Thor’s Hammer Captain America Shield Sword Action Figure Hulk Fists Web Shooters Other than these materials during each workout, nutrition and time is really important. In order to get the most out of each work out, make sure you set aside the same time every day to get your activity in. Also make sure that you have an ample amount of electrolytes and lean proteins to consume after your work out. My favorite sources of electrolytes are coconut water, watermelon, soup, or a fruit salad. Great sources of protein are beans, falafel, nuts, egg whites, chicken, and fish. Before your work out if you are really hungry, I recommend having a workout smoothie, some fruit, or water at maximum 15 minutes before the workout. You don’t want to have a stomach full of food before you get into a workout because you won’t have space to activate your core very well.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental guidance or consent is required to record and post videos into the classroom page. This challenge is assessed by engagement thru text, photo, and video. Those with the highest engagement will be rewarded! It is absolutely necessary that learners have an open 8x8 space to train everyday. There must be nothing in the way to distract from safety and instruction such as tables, toys, or pets. If these safety guidelines are not followed, learners are at risk of falling or tripping unintentionally. Superhero Fitness+ includes skills like g, jumping, and turning at times which is safest in an open space.
