Superhero Encounter!: Spiderman Story-Time and Directed Drawing/Coloring
If your learner loves superheroes, this one-time class will be a blast! Students will listen to an exciting story about Miles Morales (a.k.a Spiderman) followed by a directed drawing/coloring time inspired by the story.

If your learner loves superheroes, this one-time class will be a blast! Students will listen to an exciting story about Miles Morales (a.k.a Spiderman) followed by a directed drawing/coloring time inspired by the story. At the beginning of class, students are welcome to bring their favorite superhero or toy to show to the rest of the class. Even come dressed as your favorite superhero - the teacher will be dressed up as Supergirl! Next, we will be reading a story published by the author Billy Wrecks. I will be showing the book under a high-quality document camera so your learner is able to listen along and look at the pictures. During the story, I will make sure to ask questions so learners are not just listening, they are understanding the material. After our story-time, each students will either enjoy coloring a worksheet or participating in a simple directed drawing of the superhero. Instruction will also be given under my document camera so each learner will be able to follow each step. What to expect in class: - Welcome/Greeting/Show and tell time - Superhero Story-time - Spiderman Directed Drawing/Coloring - Closing Comments/Goodbyes If you don't see a time that works for you, please message me and I would be happy to accommodate!
