Builders will use their building bricks & creativity to help superheroes prepare for upcoming adventures. Then, they will face an obstacle that they must help the superheroes overcome in this action packed, building adventure class.

In this building brick adventure class, students will use their small interlocking building bricks to help a team of super heroes. Throughout class, builders will engage in conversation and problems solving as they share their ideas about different ways to help the heroes or to overcome problems during our adventure. I will narrate the Super Hero Adventure and pause when the heroes need help creating new gadgets or when problems arise to allow time for builders to use their bricks to build and create solutions. Builders will have the opportunity to tell us about what they built and how how it can help the heroes. This class is very interactive, builders are encouraged to be creative, share their ideas, encourage each other, problem solve, and have fun! Without really realizing it, learners will practice their presenting/public speaking skills, conversational manners, problem solving, and having a growth mindset (sticking with it when things get tricky).

Supply List
Please bring a tub of small interlocking building bricks. Wheels, a baseplate, and a mini-figure would be fun for builders to have too but they are not required for the class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

My name is Danielle Day. I have a passion for inspiring young learners! I have a degree in Elementary Education. I have taught in both homeschool and public elementary school settings over the the last 18 years. I have also taught ESL online. Aside from teaching, I have coached basketball and a Building Brick League Team. I think learning should be authentic, engaging, and fun! My husband and I have 3 sons. As a family, we enjoy playing games, reading, riding our bikes, building with building bricks, and exploring nature.
- If you do not see dates listed for a class, that does not mean that I'm no long teaching the class or that it isn't awesome. It just means that right now, I have more class ideas than available hours in the day. I try to balance opening a variety of classes and leaving myself some time to be able to accommodate requested classes.
