In this 3 week class class, learners will create a superhero drawing, city watercolor painting, and action word collage.
Class experience
Each class will start with either introductions or a review of what was covered in previous days. Learners will create artwork inspired by comics: superheroes, cities in trouble, and action words. Not only will we make artwork of superheroes, but we will also introduced to drawing, painting, collage techniques, and other important art concepts. The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!
Day 1: Superhero, drawing White paper, pencil, black marker, drawing supplies (markers, crayons, or colored pencils) Day 2: City, painting White paper, pencil, black permanent marker, watercolor paint, painting supplies (paint brush, cup of water, paper towels, etc.) Day 3: Action Words, paper collage White paper, pencil, black marker, drawing supplies (markers, crayons, or colored pencils)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
