What will be taught? Students will explore five powerful ways to start a story with impact, helping them become stronger, more confident writers. By the end of the course, students will have five strong, creative story starters they can use to build their own amazing stories! Writing Prompts Each lesson features a picture writing prompt that encourages students to apply what they’ve learned in their very own story, fostering creativity and practical skills.

All images used as picture prompts in this course are age-appropriate and do not contain any violent, graphic, or controversial material.
Pre-Requisites
Students should be able to write a short story (at least five sentences) on their own.

- Something to write on (notebook, paper, Word or Google Doc) - Something to write with (pencil or pen - if writing on physical paper)
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
