In this ongoing class, learners will practice second grade spelling words that share a particular pattern. There will also be some bonus words, which are tricky spelling words that do not follow traditional spelling rules. In an interactive format, this class will use a series of games and activities to gain familiarity with the words of the week. Students will be able to read, spell, and write grade-level words with a common spelling pattern.
Paper and pencil Markers/Crayons Whiteboard and dry erase marker (recommended, not required) Scissors Glue Any required printables will be shared in advance.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There are no formal spelling tests for this course.
30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
