Description
Class Experience
Spelling helps students to become better readers and writers. But spelling words in the English language is far from simple. That is why this class takes on spelling from multiple angles. Each week we will concentrate on a list of 10 words. We will use a variety of methods to master spelling these words. In pre-recorded lessons, I will teach students common spelling rules and exceptions. Students will learn to recognize vowel combinations, consonant digraphs, and blends. Different strategies,...
Students will improve their spelling skills.
Homework will be assigned each week. There will be 4 separate assignments. Students will complete word searches, word scrambles, and more to review the words.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
This class uses Kahoot. I will be sending a link in the classroom, there is no need to download Kahoot or create an account.
