In this 6 week immersion course for learners who have completed all semesters of Super Spanish A-D, we will continue to improve on the basics of the Spanish language.
Class Experience
Get ready to have fun with your amigos and speak Spanish together! In this six week immersion class, learners will meet in small groups of two to three learners twice per week to strengthen their Spanish comprehension and speaking skills. All meetings will be conducted in Spanish using the 80:20 model- 80% usage of the target language, and 20% English. **Please note that your learner must complete all semesters of Super Spanish before joining in on this class. Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: It is strongly recommended that learners practice what they have learned for at least 10 minutes each day. I also encourage the learners to use the target language as much as possible at home. Listen to songs in Spanish. Choose games and toys for your learner that can be played with in the target language such as picture memory games, a play kitchen, magnet letters/numbers, themed puzzles (animals, vehicles, etc...) Watch children's tv shows or movies in Spanish. Consider borrowing Spanish language books from the library, or begin building your own Spanish language library at home!
Small white board/dry erase board and marker Vocabulary and phrase lists for each concept will be available in the classroom for you to print. Various items you have around the home will be used periodically
