Notebooking is a fun and creative way to learn! 🚨No prior exposure to Spanish is required!🚨 ⭐️ In this class, we will use a notebook to make creative pages which contain a variety of foldables, mini books, and other items that are related to a specific topic. ⭐️ In this 6 week class, learners will create their own notebook about different Spanish speaking countries. ⭐️ Each class meeting will begin with a short lesson to introduce the learners to the specific country. We will talk about the capital of each country, where it is located, common foods, and more! ⭐️ Powerpoint presentations will be used, as well as short videos. We will work on our notebooks together during the remaining time, and learners may continue working on their notebooks after the meeting ends. ⭐️ Materials for this class are listed in the materials section. Some items may be substituted and you may also use other items in addition to what is listed. Week 1: Spain 🇪🇸 Week 2: Mexico 🇲🇽 Week 3: Panama 🇵🇦 Week 4: Argentina 🇦🇷 Week 5: Venezuela 🇻🇪 Week 6: Colombia 🇨🇴 ***Please note that there are NO makeup dates for this class. Learners who miss a live meeting are welcome to watch the recording on their own time.

Here are some fun facts about me:
⭐️ I live in Florida where I can use the Spanish language on a daily basis!
⭐️ I have over 20 years of experience teaching children of all ages.
⭐️ I speak three languages fluently -- Portuguese, Spanish, and English. I also studied both French and German for several years and am currently learning Chinese!
⭐️ I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Language Education. I also lived in Spain and was able to study at the University of Madrid!
⭐️ I have worked in schools teaching classes and small groups, and also have experience teaching homeschoolers as well.
⭐️ When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and cheering on our favorite sports teams!
