Description
Class Experience
Lapbooking is a fun and creative way to learn. A lapbook is a simple file folder that contains a variety of foldables, mini books, and other items that are related to a specific topic. In this 4 week class, students will create their own lapbook in Spanish about themselves. During week one, we will talk about our physical traits and design a piece for our lapbook. In week two, we will discuss and make foldables for our lapbook of our favorites such as our favorite color, food, book, etc...In...
Homework is not required but students who do not complete their lapbooking activity during class will want to finish it as homework before the next class meeting.
-Handouts will need to be printed prior to the start of each class meeting. In addition, please make sure your child has the following supplies: -one file folder- it may be any color. A large piece of construction paper may be substituted. -colored paper such as cardstock or construction paper. Plain white paper may be substituted. -crayons, markers, or colored pencils -scissors -glue Optional items: ruler, stickers, scrapbooking embellishments, stapler, scrapbooking scissors
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
