Class Experience
This club offers kids a space to play Super Smash Bros Ultimate with other kids online. We'll still be using Zoom to chat and talk, and the chats will be closely monitored by myself and will emphasize sportsmanship and respect. I myself will also be playing (unless the class is full) and help players get better by playing someone of a higher experience level. Students will hone their Smash Bros skills in intense, four player free-for-alls. They will learn the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, and how to show good sportsmanship throughout.
I've owned every single sanctioned release of Super Smash Bros, and Ultimate is no exception. As a teacher, I have a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and have been teaching kids for more than a decade.
Any student may observe, but in order to participate, learners need a Nintendo Switch, a copy of Super Smash Bros Ultimate, an internet connection and a subscription to Nintendo Online.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate is rated E10+ for comic mischief and stylized action.
