Class Experience
Students will learn how to thread a needle and tie it easily. They will learn how to make simple projects using a regular stitch and how to use the decorative blanket stitch. I will demonstrate techniques and the class materials will offer several crafts to choose from. (If time allows I will demonstrate more stitches). I will lead a discussion about types of sewing such as home decor, clothing, purses, any craft you can think of. Students will be able to ask questions and show off their...
Students will be able to complete a project of their choice from the list I will provide.
1 file available upon enrollmentAn upload will be available with craft choices. Depending on the choice, the materials will be listed. Basically: scissors, needle, thread, material. A candle is optional - it is used to detangle thread and also to make threading the needle easier.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
