In this 2-day camp, students will learn the art & life skill of hand sewing. We will go over the most common hand sewing techniques, and repair/mends for a sustainable wardrobe.
Class experience
Learners will join in for a week of Super Sew fun. We'll learn the basics in handsewing and how to apply it in the most common repair/mends. Learners will build confidence and patience while being taught hand sewing techniques...no experience is needed yet an interest in sewing is recommended. Easy to follow along instruction to start, followed by repairing/mending on their very own recycled fabric scraps. Parents may help learners ages 3-6 with handling of their sewing needles for safety reasons, although you may be surprised with how steady and responsible your little ones are.
