This will be an interactive lesson with opportunities for discussion and answering questions. The students will learn and discuss the basic information of each semi aquatic animal we cover. The information will be presented using google slides with images and facts for each animal. There will be questions relating to the material throughout the lesson. Students are encouraged to ask questions. I ask that students participate in class and to engage respectfully with other learners. I will give them instructions at the beginning of class. I will also give them reminders throughout the class. We give thumbs up for yes and thumbs down for no. I will ask that the students mute and unmute when asking questions to limit distractions. If the parent prefers I will mute and unmute the student. We will enjoy a fun and engaging class. This will be a fun and encouraging environment. This basic information can include habitat, food source, location. predators and characteristics. We will cover as many semi aquatic mammals as time allows. We will cover hippos, otters, sloths, beavers, moose, capybara, platypus, and alligators.
