In this 2 day science camp we will do super fun hands-on holiday themed experiments and learn the science behind them! Students are welcome to bring the listed experiment supplies and make the experiments along with me! Students are also welcome to just observe the experiments as well. A handout with directions will be included, so you can complete the experiment outside of class if you wish. On Day 1 we will make Magic Milk. This is one of my all time favorite experiements! You will need: 1. A shallow bowl or pie pan filled with 1 cup of milk 2. Food coloring 3. Cotton swabs 4. Dish soap On Day 2 we will make Lava Lamps. You will need: 1. A glass or mason jar filled halfway with water 2. 1 cup or vegetable oil 3. Food coloring 4. Alka-selzer tablets My favorite part of teaching is building relationships! I strive to create a positive, relaxed environment where we can learn and have fun. I do not require students to mute, but I will mute students if there is distracting background noise. It is helpful for students to know how to mute/unmute themselves. I encourage students to ask questions and participate! Come and do some amazing experiments this holiday break!
