This class is taught in English.
Kindergarten Reading Benchmarks
I attended the Teachers' College in New York at Colombia University to learn Readers Workshop for Kindergarten.
Students will need to practice their letter sounds. Students will need to memorize their sight words. Students will have a reading assignments. Students will read books online on Raz Kids through my membership.
Small whiteboard and marker Blank paper printer to print paper books for interaction printer for puppets 2-3 storybooks for beginning skills Examples of good picture books are: Little Red Hen, The Billy Goats Gruff, The Carrot Seed, Brown Bear and many others. Please email me and I can send you a list.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
One assessment will be given around week 10. This will be a private invite assessments and it is included.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
