in this ongoing course, the student will practice 5th grade reading and math skills. In reading we will concentrate on phonics, comprehension, vocabulary and fluency. In math, geometry, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, order of operations, algebra, volume, and capacity will be some topics of study. The teacher will instruct using videos, slides, games, worksheets, hands-on activities and songs. The teacher will communicate regularly with the student and family about how they are progressing.
