🍄Calling all Super Mario Fans!🍄 Join together and share your enthusiasm with other like minded friends. This class is perfect to build friendships, practice social skills, ask questions and learn from their peers. At the beginning we will build community by letting students participate in an exciting a show and tell and share what they did that day/week. Students often get excited when they have the same item as someone else or see something they didn't know about before. This time helps students gain confidence by speaking and asking questions to others. Each class we will have a different character/topic students can share or learn more facts about. I will use guided, open ended questions to help the students get the conversation started. These topics can range from the movies, the tv show, the video games, favorite characters etc. If there is time we might also have the opportunity to read a story, play a game such as Super Mario Would You Rather or trivia etc. Students always have the chance to suggest what they would like to do and talk about in future classes as well. Every class will be different. Week of July 30: Bowser Jr. Week of Aug. 6: Donkey Kong Week of Aug. 13: Koopalings Week of Aug. 20: Toadsworth Week of Aug. 27: Koopa Troopas Week of Sept 3: Goombas Week of Sept 10: Toad Week of Sept 17: Bowser Week of Oct. 1: Princess Peach Week of Oct. 8: Yoshi Week of Oct. 29: Princess Daisy Week of Nov. 5: Toadette Week of Nov. 12: Rosalina Week of Nov. 19: Mario Week of Nov. 26: Luigi My classes are fun, high energy, engaging and low pressure. Students are always welcome to participate as much or as little as they like. I strive to keep the classroom a positive environment for everyone involved. Please note: The show and tell item can be anything from a toy to artwork to stuffed animals. It does not have to be Mario related.

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
Come join me and let's have an adventure together!
