Class Experience
My classes are engaging and fun so that children are free of worry and stress. This enables children to focus on the material and enjoy learning to read. I do this by allowing them to speak and share their thoughts, participate and keep them engaged with fun activities. This is tailored tutoring, so each child will have activities specifically designed to fit their needs and learning style. This class is taught in English.
My goal for this course is that your child grows significantly in phonics and beginning reading skills. If phonics is their struggle, my goal is they learn all their letters & sounds. If they have that skill down packed, we will move into blending and short vowels to set the foundation.. After those skills are mastered we will begin to read small words, learn sight words, and read short stories with fluency and confidence.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
