Class Experience

In this course we will meet five times to make a different Mario Bros. themed paper art craft. I will provide step by step instructions to make each project. As we craft, students will also be able to freely discuss all things Mario with other kids who are Mario crazy too! On day one we will make a mushroom, students will have the option to choose whatever color mushroom they would like to make. On day two we make a fire flower. On day three we will create a Mario. On day four we will make a...

Students will be able to practice their instruction following skills as well as their art and imagination skills.  They will also have the ability to socialize with fellow Mario fans and have a great time!

Day one: For a traditional mushroom: red paper, yellow/tan paper, white paper. Alternatively, white paper they can color. Scissors and glue/glue stick. PDF I will provide with a template
Day two: For a traditional fire flower: red/orange paper, yellow paper, white paper, green paper. Alternatively, white paper they can color. Scissors and glue/glue stick. PDF I will provide with a template 
Day three: For a traditional Mario: Peach/light tan paper, red paper, black paper, blue paper, brown paper, white paper. Alternatively, White paper they can color. Scissors and glue/glue stick. PDF I will provide with a template
Day four: For a traditional Cheep Cheep: red paper, yellow paper, pink paper, white paper. Alternatively, white paper they can color. Scissors and glue/glue stick. PDF I will provide with a template 
Day five: For a traditional Yoshi: green paper, white paper, tan paper, black paper, brown paper. Alternatively, white paper they can color. Scissors and glue/glue stick. PDF I will provide with a template

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parental guidance is needed for the use of scissors.
