We will learn how simple household products can react with others. Home products we will be using to teach learners how force and motion work. Short video clips will be shown in class to enhance understanding of how one chemical reacts with another. Students will enhance their listening skills, taking turns, color recognition, and learn the fundamentals of Science and Chemistry. New vocabulary words introduced in each class.
Supplies: 1/2 cup of milk of choice: Nut milk, 2% milk, Whole milk, or Heavy Whipping Cream Glass dinner plate Four cotton swabs (q-tip) Dish Soap paper towel Food Coloring 4 colors- Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green (other colors are okay to use)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note you may decide your learner may need your supervision to monitor the use of the ingredients and to perform the test. Learners watch the class and l the process .You will be able to access steps and procedures after class is completed.
