In this ongoing course, students will learn about a feeling/emotion each week with the help of some superhero's!
Class experience
In this interactive course learners will have the opportunity to learn about their feelings, how they are expressed and ways to support their feelings in the moment while they are experiencing them. Superhero's will help us with our learning! A superhero will share a short story about a time when they were having a BIG feeling. Stories are imaginative and shared with pictures. Learners will identify the feeling and will have a discussion about how the superhero can safely express that...
Students will learn skills to identify and understand their feelings, including supporting their reactions in the moment.
Teacher is a Registered Social Worker with training on emotional expression and support.

This class is discussing feelings and emotions which may invoke personal connection for learners. Learners are not asked or expected to share their personal emotion stories during class, however they may want to discuss this with a trusted adult at home after lessons.
