Description

Class Experience

STEAM is the educational discipline that engages students using the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math.  Our class will function in alignment with the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards.)

Young children are naturally curious and interested in exploring the world around them. During these classes, I will encourage little learners to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math as they work together to solve problems.

Students will improve their understanding of the inquiry process, how to make predictions and conduct experiments, how to work with others to come up with solutions to problems, and how science, technology, engineering, art and math can all be super fun when collaborating together!
*(There is no requirement for students to have the materials and create the projects in class, I will complete each day's project and if the learner has the materials they are welcome to join, also, they can always improvise with similar household items.)

  1 file available upon enrollment
All supplies are listed in the description and list will be provided again each week in the class post page.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parents will need to supervise young students when we are using scissors.
