Description
Class Experience
In this class we will learn basic acrylic painting techniques, as we learn to create our very own sunset view. To add more detail and make the painting extra unique, the student will design their very own silhouette to paint on-top. This class will be an even mix between lecture and interactive learning as discussion is an important element to the artistic process. I do not expect the students to have any prior knowledge about how to paint a sun set, but I do expect them to come with an open...
Students will improve their acrylic painting techniques, as well as understanding of color blending.
There is no homework assigned for this course, however, I always encourage extra practice!
- Acrylic paints (You can have lots of colors, but you need: Red, Yellow, Orange, White, and Black) - Paint brushes - Water cup - Paper towels - Plate or pallet - Pencil and Eraser - Paper (For sketching, can be printer paper) - Canvas or thick painting paper (Not printer paper, it is too thin and will crinkle)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
