Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Rachel, and I teach music to kids and teenagers. I am certified to teach grades K-12, and I also have experience teaching general music to children as young as 2, and private trumpet lessons to teenagers as old as 16.
I like to integrate lots of subjects in my general music lessons, such as history, science, geography, and self-expression through creation and/or movement. The classes I offer include trumpet lessons, yoga and dance sessions, basic music theory for all ages, recorder lessons, how to sing, and how to keep a steady beat.
Updated co-learners policy: if you have two learners in the same age range who would like to attend a class at the same time, I offer a 30% "siblings" discount. As long as both students are separately enrolled in the class, I will refund 30% of the cost of one learner.
Students attending my classes on Outschool will be exposed to musical skills and cultures from all around the globe, from the comfort of their own home! I can't wait to meet you, see you soon!
