Description

Class Experience

In this four-day class, students will develop mastery in writing a five paragraph essay. Each meeting students will practice writing one part of the essay so they develop confidence in understanding what components are necessary for each paragraph. They will have a complete five paragraph essay at the end of the class. 

Note: While there will be significant class time allotted for student writing, homework may be necessary for those who need more time and this is fine!  Students are...

Students may handwrite their essays or type on their computer using any word processing program that they would like to use.   Please note that handwritten essays will be harder to provide feedback on, however if the parent or guardian wishes to upload a photo of their writing to the classroom I will be able to provide feedback. Students who type on their computer may either share their screen, share a link to their document, or copy/paste their work into the chat for review and feedback.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Kahoot

3 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Quizzes on weekly material will be provided using Kahoot.  Please note that Parental Guidance using Kahoot is advised.
