Summer Writing Activities
In this 4 week self-paced online course, students will develop their writing skills through writing (and illustrating) short paragraphs about different topics each week.

Each week, students will have a new topic to write about. I will provide a recorded video lesson, modeling how to write a paragraph about the particular topic. Depending on their level of writing, students are welcome to follow along and write down exactly what I am writing in the video--or they can come up with their own details for their paragraphs. Sample writing topics include "a fun place I'm going this summer", and "my favorite pet and why". Please feel free to message me with any questions! I look forward to having your student in class.

Student will write a paragraph about an activity they are doing or a place they are going this summer. Lesson 2:

How-to writing
Student will write several steps as to how to make/do something. They will choose something that they know how to do. Lesson 4:
Friendly Letter Writing

Learning Needs
This class may be a great fit for students with unique learning needs. Students can watch the pre-recorded video lessons and pause or rewind the lesson at any time. I will also provide individualized video and written feedback for students.
