Summer: Weekly Kindergarten Foundational Reading Skills Class

In this weekly summer class, students will review the foundational reading skills  that are taught in Kindergarten. Please see the Class Syllabus for specific skills that are covered each week. Each week I build review of previous skills into the lesson so your child can join at any time. 

This class is perfect for:

⭐️ Students who have just completed Kindergarten and would like to practice their reading skills some more. 
⭐️ Students who will be going into Kindergarten who want to get a head start.

I love to teach foundational reading concepts using fun hands on activities, games and grade level texts! 

For each class, I will review a combination of skills in each category, students will do an activity/practice the skills with the class, then the students will have an opportunity to do individual practice both in class and at home. 

After each class you and your child will receive additional activities you can practice throughout the week to go along with what we are doing in class.  They will be posted in the classroom. 

Providing positive reinforcement is very important to me while I am teaching my classes! I want students to feel successful and be able to practice their reading skills in a positive and fun environment! I will give your learner specific and positive feedback so that they can fix mistakes if needed and celebrate their successes!
