In this 3 day art camp we'll complete 3 projects that celebrate the joy of summer. This will be an interactive class where we will share some favorite things about this season. We will look at some photographs to inspire our summer vibe and we will do some step by step drawing. Project 1-camper van from the summer of love Project 2- marvelous mermaid and castle (can be a merman or merdog or anything you can dream up) Project 3- flip flops and Hibiscus flowers We'll add color with a...
Students will use basic shapes to create more elaborate drawings. Students will learn water color paint techniques, students will meet a community of artists.
3 sheets of Large White paper 12 x 18, scrap paper, pencil, eraser, sharpie, markers, gel pens, iridescent paint or gel pens (optional), watercolor paint, large and small brush, water cup, and paper towels.
Assessment will be informal and occur during guided drawing.
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
