Class Experience
Preschoolers & Kindergarteners...are you ready for a fun journey full of learning and adventure? 🤚 Every meeting, our class will begin with a quick greeting to check in on everyone. Every week in this class there will be a weekly theme, with each day focusing on a specific area. We incorporate songs and movement in class to encourage fine/gross motor skills, social fun, and various methods of learning strategies! 📚 Learners can JOIN at any time as we dive into letters, numbers, shapes,...
In this class students will practice and enhance their letter recognition, tracing/writing, and sounds (both upper & lower case). Students will practice and enhance their number recognition and tracing/writing from 1 - 26. Students will practice and enhance their shape and color recognition either through verbal identification and/or tracing/drawing. Students will discuss with the class the current weather where they live and will cover days/months of the year.
Students are encouraged to utilize the extra worksheets given, but it will not be considered homework.
The teacher will post in the classroom of the activities students will complete for each week in advance & what will be needed in terms of material. Here are the basics we will use in class: - Pencil - Crayons, markers, colored pencils - Various colored paint (paint brushes) - Various colored construction paper - Glue - Scissors
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will at times use scissors in which parents should supervise or assist students. There will be some worksheets where students will need to practice their cutting skills, parental supervision is highly recommended.
