Summer Time: Beg/ Adv. Intermediate Tap Dance Class
This will be a one time class featuring tap terminology, learn a dance routine to the song “Trashin' The Camp” from Tarzan, and play games.

Class Experience
During this class our goal is to build up more stamina, focus on complicating basic steps, and how to combine steps to make a dance routine. In Tap our Goal is to Learn/Review the following steps: Drawbacks, alternating drawbacks, pull backs, waltz clog, flap heels, shuffles, toe taps, paddle diddles, heel digs, and cramp rolls and a dance combination to the song Trashin' the Camp
I have been teaching dance for the past 3 years, and I have taught beginner/intermediate level dance in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical. In addition, I have choreographed many middle school productions. I also will have a minor in dance, Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology (graduating December 2020).
Students will be participating in a physical fitness/movement activities though out the class. Please be aware that your child can end up injuring themselves. Therefore please make sure your child has sufficient dance space, proper foot ware (choice of ballet shoes, Jazz Shoes, Tap shoes or barefoot/socks, ). In addition, I encourage all students to have a water bottle near by and the student is warmed up before class to avoid injury’s. Parental supervision is strongly encourage to help your dancer assure there safety and spacial awareness. *If it is Dangerous to Wear tap shoes on your dance floor like slippery title: you can wear sneakers instead*
