Students will learn the critical elements of survival skills in an outdoor, warm-weather scenario. This fun class will discuss health and safety while engaging imaginations! No background knowledge is required as this class is an excellent introduction to my other more in-depth survival skill courses. Basics we will discuss include: What needs are most important? Mistakes to avoid. How to stay hydrated and healthy. How to get help & how to stay calm until help arrives. This class is will utilize slides, discussion, videos. Students will receive an activity after class they can do to extend the learning experience. It is a great first course in survival skills.
