Beginner - Advanced Level
The only thing that prevents the summer slide is practice! Students need to review the skills they have learned to maintain them. But...motivating students to work over the summer can be a challenge. No problem. This course has been designed to feel more like a summer camp. We will utilize a variety of games and activities to work through skills to make sure we keep the "fun" in fundamentals. Every day of camp will focus on a different skill so that students can really dive in. Day 1: Word Problems Day 2: Fractions Day 3: Decimals Day 4: Area / Perimeter Each day students will participate in a variety of group activities. Before each session, families will be provided with any worksheets for the day. At the end of each session, students will be given a follow-up worksheet that they may choose to complete for additional practice. Students may choose to submit their work on the additional practice sheet for feedback.
Learning Goals
Students will solve multi-step word problems.Students will solve problems that include fractions and decimals.

My experience has included teaching in traditional classrooms, online education, and homeschooling my own kids. Math has been my focus, but I have taught all subject areas for grades K-12.
