⭐️ WHY IS READING ALOUD IMPORTANT?⭐️
Reading aloud to children has been proven by research to improve a child's comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency and is the single most important activity for building the knowledge required for success in reading. WOW!

Even more important, it is MY FAVORITE THING TO DO!
Come join me as I put on my storytelling hat 👒 of the day and share a favorite story with your child.

⭐️ STRUCTURE OF THE CLASS:
Each class will begin with an introduction to the book, quickly followed by an interactive read-aloud. I will give students hand signals to use so that I may get their input throughout the story. If we have time at the end of class, I will start the next book on our list.

⭐️ EXPECTATIONS:
Children should remain muted, and attentive! Children are welcome to draw and color while listening to the story or stories of the day.
Learning Goals
Students will continue to grow their fluency, comprehension and vocabulary skills.
