Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 4
Mastering spelling can be challenging, even for strong readers. This class offers explicit, systematic spelling instruction to help students succeed. Using 'Pop-its' or alternatives, we'll segment words, match sound/spelling combinations, and build essential spelling skills through engaging lessons.

Each class includes:

A 'Super Important Question'
Mini-lessons on spelling rules or patterns (with games or activities)
Phonemic awareness practice, often involving segmentation and syllables
Word dictation (using the 'pop, write, check' method)
Sentence dictation

Word lists for additional at-home practice activities are provided.
