Summer Spanish Reading Fun - Getting Ready for Kinder! (Homeschool Friendly)

Engaging kids in fun activities is key to help them through their reading and writing skills development. This class will help your kid increase their academic ability, while feeling excited about learning! Each class DOES NOT build from previous ones, so you can choose those topics that your kid enjoys or needs the most!

Using the I do, You do, We do Approach, the student will have the opportunity to practice kindergarten skills in Spanish. The teacher will encourage participation by asking prompting questions and will complete the lesson with an assessment game.

Each class will follow the format:
- Presentation of skill (why is it important)
-Examples and supports
-Independent practice
-Games

The topics/skills that will be discussed per week are as follows:

Week of June 12th - The vowels (palabras que comienzan con vocales)
Week of June 19th - Days of the Week (días de la semana)
Week of June 26th - Months of the Year (meses del año)
Week of July 3rd - Colors (los colores)
Week of July 10th - Numbers (los números)
Week of July 17th - Shapes (las figuras)
