Class Experience


As a Homeschool Mom of 4 Teens - I know the importance of Socialization and allowing Tween/ Teens ample time to make connections with their peers.  I love to facilitate these relationships, by offer Fun Facts, Weather Check-Ins, Pop Culture Updates, Sports Updates, Current Events,  Logic Puzzles and More interactive fun + conversation starters.

I will be able to identfy the qualities of a Disney princess that demonstrates strength, resiliency and standing up for what you believe in.

I have been an educator for two decades, homeschooling mom of four Disney lover, and learning happens anywhere believer. I think it is important to use real-life application to support students in their learning.

Learners will participate in questioning and discussion. A follow-up message will be sent to the caretaker letting them know how the student did in class.

1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

In this class, we will be using the the story line of the Disney princess to draw conclusions about strength, resiliency, fighting for what you believe in and life lessons.

For example, Rapunzel can teach us the following:

Why is it important to have a strong sense of curiosity?
How can we step outside of our comfort zone?
Why should we follow our dreams?

Students will be given a note sheet prior to the class. A Google slides presentation will be shown and supplemented with short clips highlighting what we can learn from these on-screen princesses.
