In this fun and interactive ongoing class, we will focus on learning second grade math concepts. In this group class, number of learners is limited to 6 to keep all the learners engaged in learning through plenty of interaction.

US Grade 2
In this ongoing class, kids focus on learning concepts from second grade math curriculum. The class will be fun and interactive and the size of the class is limited to 6 learners to let the learners stay focused and engaged in the class. This class will be an enrichment math class for the kids to let them enter into second grade this fall with confidence. This school year had been a challenging time for the students due to COVID-19. This class will be like a review for the students completing second grade this summer and it will help the first grade students to get ready for the second grade Math. The class duration is 40 minutes. Send me a time request if you do not see the time that works for your young learner, I will try to accommodate this. Class Topics: Week of 08 / 10 -- Place values Week of 08 / 17 -- Addition Week of 08 / 24 -- Subtraction Week of 08 / 31 -- Estimation and rounding Week of 09 / 07 -- Time Week of 09 / 14 -- Multiplication Week of 09 / 21 -- Word problems Week of 09 / 28 -- Money Week of 10 / 05 -- Measurement Week of 10 / 12 -- Shapes As new sections get added, more class timings shall be updated . This course is for high 1st grade achievers, 2 nd graders and a remedial class for 3rd graders. This is an ongoing class, so students can start and stop at any time.

Hello! Namaste ! My name is Teacher Manju. I am an Energetic and goal-driven Teacher who is dedicated to help the student to reach his or her full potential, regardless of their academic capabilities or challenges. I love teaching young kids and I am very excited to be a part of the outschool community.
I have done my Bachelors and Masters in Education from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. I have been in this amazing journey of teaching since 2013. I teach English, Mathematics for elementary kids, Biology up to 8th grade. I also love teaching my mother tongue "Telugu" which is a beautiful Indian language.
I believe in that, every student has the right to get the opportunity to learn, every child is unique and their learning needs are different from each other. I focus on children with learning difficulties in my class, identify their unique skills and gaps, guide/coach them to excel in their academics. I also make sure children with highly capable learning abilities get the required enrichment activities.
If I am not teaching, I am busy exploring my cooking skills, gardening, playing with my two young kids. I also like to bike with my family in summers.
