Class Experience

Camp Day 1 - Africa: 
Students will learn about safari parks around the world and the most popular ones in the continent of Africa. They will further learn that safari's aren't exclusive to riding in a tour car and that there are many different ways people can embark on a safari, such as by scuba diving, elephant-back riding and canoeing. In the coding part of the lesson, students will be creating a fun safari-themed game in Scratch where they will embark on a game drive while riding in a...

We will provide all necessary logins for the websites listed during sessions.

Please make sure that the learner has access to a laptop or desktop computer, access to admin controls, an internet connection of 3mbs+, a working speaker, microphone and webcam - all Windows and Mac operating systems of the past five years are supported.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Scratch

4 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
