Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to learn how to observe, develop a hypothesis, make predictions, collect data, and interpret data.
I am a licensed K-6th grade teacher in Virginia. I have Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Religion, Master of Arts in Teaching, and I will graduate with a Master of Education in Administration and Leadership in 2021. Within my 10 years of teaching I have taught students from kindergarten through twelfth grade in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, technology, art, and physical education. I have explicitly taught scientific investigations and inquiry for grades kindergarten through fifth grade.
Students will be expected but not limited to posting in the classroom discussion post, complete independent work, and participate in a independent science experiment.
1 file available upon enrollment-Printable handouts will be provided at least 24 hours prior to class time. -A more detailed supply list will be provided once enrolled and with each science experiments. All supplies can be found in a grocery store or multi-department shopping stores.
Students will be authentically assessed through independent work and science experiments.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
