Summer Science Camp Escape Room Adventure!

Students will collaborate to solve riddles in each escape room by answering a diverse range of science questions in themed content classes. Each class will focus on a different science content strand, enhancing their understanding of key concepts. At the end of each class, students will receive a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their achievements and participation. Join us for an immersive and educational experience that combines teamwork and science!

Day 1: The Forces are in Motion - Darth Vader has us trapped in the Death Star and we have to solve his riddle to escape. The FORCE must be with us as we answer force and motion questions that give the clues to the riddle. YOU (not Obi Wan) are our only hope! Bring your light saber and join me for this chapter of Super Science Escape Room Extravaganza. This week's questions will be on force and motion - gravity, friction, inertia, and magnetism, both content and experimental design.

Day 2: Disaster! -On a scientific expedition to the south pole, our ship was taken hostage by a group of pirates on the open sea.  These were very smart pirates, and they agreed to let us go if we could find the answer to their earth science riddle.  Can we work together to answer this very tricky puzzle?  Content strand will be natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tornadoes, landslides, etc.

Day 3: Lost in Space - As we launched our space shuttle to return to Earth from our moon expedition, there was a blinking light and we found ourselves in the presence of an alien being. Our ship controls were frozen and he told us that he would release them if we could answer his question. Can you help? Space science questions about the Sun/Earth/Moon system, planets, solar system, and objects in space.

Day 4: Zootopia - On a class trip to the zoo, we got separated from our group and found ourselves locked in the safari exhibit. We called and called, but no one came to our rescue. Then, we fund a box with the key inside, but we had to solve the riddle to open the box. Can you find the answer to the riddle before we get eaten by a tiger?  HELP!  - Animal science including adaptations, environments, types of species, food chains and webs, and life cycles.
