In this ongoing course, students will cover all major concepts covered in a middle school Earth and Space curriculum to either prepare for an upcoming fall semester science class or review from a previous earth and space class. These concepts will be taught separately from one another, so students can join at any time throughout the summer. Summer is a time for fun learning. My goal is to make this science class fun as we investigate key earth and space concepts and principles to help your learn build confidence in the material. Your learner can expect to learn through pictures, lectures, videos, interactive notes, quizziz and more. Students will make foldables and interactive notes as they go through this course so they can review the material for the next year.Students will get the opportunity to talk and interact with each other and share their ideas. Estimated Schedule: 1 (week of June 6): Earth Moon Sun: The Sun & Gravity / Revolve & Rotate 2 (week of June 13) Earth Moon Sun: The Moon/Eclipses 3 (week of June 20) Plate Tectonics: Layers of the Earth 4 (week of June 27) Plate Tectonics: Plate Boundaries and Pangaea 5 (week of July 4) Rock Transformations and Geo timeline 6 (week of July 11) Atmosphere & Water Cycle
Learning Goals
Students will build a strong understanding of earth and space science! We will follow next generation science standards.

Supply List
Students will need to bring a paper, pencils and different color pens or highlighters to class. White copy paper is preferred, but lined paper will work too!
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
