Class Experience

Students will learn the basics of recorder technique: breathing, tone production, fingerings. 
Students will also learn to read music (the staff, pitches, note durations, meter)
Students will listen to teacher demonstration and play to match. They will play solo and as a group.
Experience not required, only enthusiasm!

Day 1: Holding the recorder, blowing into the recorder. Reading and playing the notes B-A-G. Whole notes, Half notes, Quarter notes.
Day 2: Reading and playing C and D. Eighth...
