- The goal of this class is to establish background information about Greek mythology to facilitate their academic journey into more complex Greek literature. Students will learn about the major Greek gods, their origins and significance.

Homework
Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: Homework will be pre-reading for class discussion and role-play. Students will be given the opportunity to choose a character to read for. Students should spend an hour familiarize themselves with their character's dialogue and personality prior to next class for a dramatic and effective role play. Also, students should work on class project.Assessment
Frequency: includedDetails: On the last day of class, students will present their projects. Students will be required to create their own Greek god/ goddess/beast. The project should be presented in an art form such as PowerPoint presentation, poster drawings, construction paper illustrations... A story of the god/goddess must accompany the project.Grading
