Welcome to "Summer Prep Writing Course for High School Learners," an exciting online program tailored to help you gain the writing skills you need for high school success. This course is ideal for students who are transitioning from middle school to high school or for those already in high school who wish to enhance their writing abilities. In this first class, writers will review basic writing concepts and structures. Learners will also focus on crafting strong thesis statements and outlines. We will begin with short writing assignment to apply new skills.

Learning Needs
For learners with unique learning needs, extended time, shorter writing assignments and sentence/writing starters are available. Please request for your learner.
Pre-Requisites
To enroll in the class, students should have a basic understanding of grammar and sentence structure. Familiarity with word processing (Google Docs, One Drive, Word) s the class involves submitting assignments.
